Not sure if I will agree or disagree with many/any of those comments or examples, but such threads are always interesting. Know that this is mostly a techie/IT viewpoint of designs, so anybody reading should take it with a grain of salt!
You would never let your IT folks design magazines, newspapers, ads or direct television commercials, so why would you let a computer/IT person design your online ad/commercial website??!!
