I have sent them a large amount of proof but they do nothing. It appears they are deliberately hosting these abusive sites.

This appears to be a smear campaign, and we will not tolerate it here.

See my replies at WHT: https://www.webhostingtalk.com/showt...0#post10316940

If you have proof, then post it. Otherwise, this thread will be removed.

Do not posts links to porn spam. Use some common sense. Now you're a spammer.

I had to censor and merge most of your "proof". That leads into the actual topic...

Namecheap isn't hosting anything.

Yes, Namecheap was used to purchase some domains. None of the site data is hosted by Namecheap, and all traffic is being forwarded elsewhere. Email NS is also forwarded, but I doubt it's used, as "eforward" is the default record. At most, Namecheap can suspend the registrations -- and they surely will after the abuse@ complain is properly filed. I'd wager you didn't properly file anything, but instead sent them accusatory rant emails.

The actual spam is SMS, not email. Well, Namecheap doesn't have SMS service. What service is sending the SMS? No idea. But it's not Namecheap.

The email addresses being (ab)used are Hotmail and Gmail. Gripe at them, not Namecheap.

The destination sites, where the forwards stop, is using Amazon EC2. Again, not Namecheap.

accuwebhosting.com is a competitor web hosting company, and their "resources" are nonsense. Since the "resources/who-is-hosting-this-website" page gives an error of "Connection failed: Connection refused", I'm going to safely assume this is a failed spam attempt on your part, and merely a smear campaign against Namecheap. Nice try.

No.

So in other words you are using the same rouge to justify PORN SPAMMER to be customers of Namecheap (and Namecheap makes money from them) while sending out porn spam without any concern about retribution. You answer indicates you are just another willing part of the spam problem. I will include your response in the information I am sending to my senator. I would have expected better from a site like yours.

rouge, pronounced ro͞oZH
noun: rouge: a red powder or cream used as a cosmetic for coloring the cheeks or lips.
verb: color with rouge. "the makeup artist rouged my cheeks"

No, I don't put powder on my cheeks.

Maybe. Spammers generally use stolen credentials, so more likely Namecheap will lose money due to chargebacks. Namecheap is as much victims of spammers as the recipients of the spam.

Please do.

The problem of spam -- your EXACT spam -- is rooted in the SMS system. Phone carriers have the ability to block spam SMS and spam phone calls, but almost never do. The new STIR/SHAKEN is too weak, with most carriers simply passing along the info. I get "Spammer?" on my caller ID, but the carrier should block that crap altogether, not simply label it, and allow it to pass anyway.

Not that your Senator will care, or even understand.

Your complaint has minimal to do with Namecheap, and everything to do with lazy phone carriers, hypocritical freemails (Hotmail, Gmail blocking legit incoming mail, allowing spam outbound mail), and AWS lacking better safeguards.
