Hi.

I got question about possibility of creating incompatibile (to DVD standard) matrix. Is there any restriction about values in the matrix, like they shouldn't be higher or lower than some critical value.
And folowing this, what will be result of using incompatibile matrix No play at all, stutering, or maybe what is most intresting to me, parts of picture will be in differend collor (blue, white, green... squers)

Thx

Theres no direct incompatible matrix, the only thing is that the first value has to be 8 (and 16 in non intra but im not shure).

The other values do just affect the quantisation/filtering and the only mess you can obtain is a worse picture if values are set bad.

You gave a lot of matrix with 8 as first value in non intra (Kika low for instance...)

If it isn't matrix issue, it must be encoder fault
I'm pretty aware that libavc encoder isn't directly MPEG pattern, but how can I avoid this type of errors
