Computer Crashed Need Help

hi, the computer we use for everyone (including the 6 year old) to browse the net, play games, etc won't start up correctly. i wondered if anyone could help out. i can't find the recovery disc that came with the computer and wondered if it would be possible for someone here to do me an xp disc to reboot the computer. if you can help out, please let me know. any info etc would be greatly appreciated. i really don't want to have to buy another computer. lmk. thanks stoogedog
