I have an EBVP4+ and it seems to be in perfect condition, very clean signal.
BUT...there is a very thin vertical line on the left, maybe 6-8 pixels in, that i cannot make go away.
I have screwed the screw in the blue screw-box to no effect, both ways lefty righty.
Any comments would be welcome before I send it to someone for service.

There are multiple screws, all undocumented. I learned what those do by having no fear with a unit once, fingers crossed that I wouldn't ruin something. The line can usually disappear, but it takes patience. QC on these sucked, and the units drift over time.

OK, I'll mess with it some more. Other than that one vertical line the unit seems excellent and I'd like to use it in my workflow. If I needed to fix it, who might be a good choice?

My experience shows that the line on the left, actually the demarcation line between split-screen preview, is affected by both the software, and the capture card. Some combinations leave the demarcation line well within view, and others leave that dreadful line just within reach of a mask.
Using certain dongles/software also seems to affect the other two screws, other than the blue (gray) box. I'm sure I can get a clean capture, but the wind needs to be blowing in the correct direction and velocity.
