MPEG-VCR = make simple cuts, save as new MPEG. This program is not without its flaws, with audio sync issues on really long MPEG files (3+ hours long), or problems understanding MPEG files with "junk" data in them (for example, nav data from a ripped DVD).
MPEG Video Wizard = MPEG-VCR, but without the above flaws. It also has a good timeline with zooming function, so you can mix/edit MPEG footage to create a new MPEG file. (Note: MPEG files much match specs to not re-encode.) While this editor also re-encodes video, the re-encode quality is horrible, so never use it. It can re-encode small sections at cuts or effects, but never let it redo entire clips.
MPEG Video Wizard DVD = MVW + DVD authoring abilities.
Easy DVD = no idea, not used it. From what I can see online on the official site, it looks like the authoring function of MVW DVD, but without the editor.
