I would first try 352x576, and it all depends on the quality of your source. If it's pristine, then that resolution will work fine.
But the playtime of that movie is pretty long, and because your source is DivX, there are compression artifacts, and I would just encode 352x288 to guarantee that it will fit on one CD with good quality.
But first, try small samples at 352x576, with file size prediction so you can tell how the final encode will look like.
