I have a movie that is about 1 hr and 42 mins long..., that I can convert from avi to kvcd withough a problem. here are the specs for that movie them....

640 x 352
1:41:44
117 kpbs
MPEG layer-3

23 fps
130kpbs
16 bit
DIvx Codec

The finishd result of the KVCD is the picture is very small, it looks like the movie has been squezed together, but I guess I understand that, due to the fact that its at 352x480. I encoded this video at 352x480 and 640x352 and only the 352x480 acctually workd.

Is there any way possible to increase the picture size without it toally not workin? please let me know. thanks.

I'm new to this so i might be wrong, but all the divx files and dvd ripsi have encoded all work flawlessly at 352x288 and are around the same size as a dvd. (16:9 or 4:3) I cant remember which it is. Most end up with a file size of 670 - 790 mb so far.

Did you use FitCD to give you the correct resizing values from your avi? Also you must view the mpeg in WinDVD, PowerDVD, or your standalone DVD player, if the resolution is 352x480.

WMP won't display the aspect correctly.
