I have been looking on goolgle for guides and get some conflicting answers.i just leave everything as default because i am clueless but under colorspace most guides have YUV 4:2:2 checked but as default it is RGB 24 bit, which one is it supposed to be.

Any other settings i need to change from default

Thanx

Leave "YUV" Checked! As this means your Stream will be frameserved in its original colorspace state! There's no need to frameserve at RGB24!

BTW the author of DVD2AVI did an error in his "words" by telling the user in the option he would frameserve a YUV 4:2:2 which is not true, as mpeg2 VOB based streams always are YUV 4:2:0. But thats only an error of definition but the engine works well when selecting YUV 4:2:2 as it outputs the right 4:2:0 stream to work with in avisynth.
