Hey bruceleroy,
I have almost all similar findings...
For
my opinion, and the movies I have made, I think that the best way to SKVCD is to load the
KVCD Plus 704x480 (ntsc) and change these settings:
- Stream Type: MPEG-2 Super VideoCD (VBR)
- Encode Mode: 3:2 pulldown when playback
- Size: 480x480
- Max Bitrate: 2550 ( I see no blocks
)
- VBR_CQ Quality: 20
As I said, these settings are great for
my taste, and my sources.
And you can fit 120+ on 2 CDs.
I fitted Artificial Intelligence (145min) with great quality
Artificial Intelligence is a very dark and slow action film, so it has good compression...
Well, I think that the only way to find the best settings for your source and your equipment is experiment... a great many of experiments.
I hope I could help you in some way.
