I always wonder why people bother sharing KVCDs. The ones I make play great on my own standalone DVD player, but depending on the resolution not all will play on my friends' players.
So even if I wanted to share with other people, I'd have to stick with the lowest common denominator to get it to play on the majority of players, but lose out on the benefits of higher resolutions, VBR, etc.
Plus I suspect many of them are created from multi-disc SVCDs and XviDs, so the original quality wouldn't be that great to begin with. Combined with the need to get them onto one disc as quickly and easily as possible, I don't think people who do this would bother with AviSynth or filesize prediction...
