I have a JVC XV-511 standalone player that I bought 4-5 yrs ago and I've used it about ten times. From day 1 it would only play about 5% of the DVDs that I put in.

I need to find out if there's a simple repair that can be made (like a $30 adjustment) or should I give it to the Goodwill for a tax write off (j/k)
