Hi all,

I've been copying a bunch of DVDs onto my hard drive and converting them into easily manageable .mkv files with the help of Makemkv. However, I have a few disks giving me trouble, so I've used the program Isobuster to recover the files. The program has been successful in getting the files recovered, however, when I play the recovered folder in vlc player, I'm not able to seek through the whole video, the time counter is messed up, and I get an error message reading "Your input can't be opened" (see screenshot).

Also, when I load this recovered folder into Makemkv, I can't seem to find the "video_ts.ifo" file like I am with other working video_ts folders I've copied from working disks. Any ideas as to what is going on?

When using ISOBuster, did you extract only MPEG frames?

Hi lordsmurf,

I tried doing that selection in Isobuster, but nothing happens. No prompt or anything. Is there something I'm missing?

Sorry for double posting, but I apparently some was wrong with the installation of Isobuster. I tried the mpg selection after a reinstall amd it worked! Thanks so much lordsmurf!
