one can set the amount of shrinkage by using the slider bars in dvd shrink right?

but there is a limit as to how much dvd shrink will allow.

is there a way for me to set the shrinkage amount above (below?) and beyond dvd shrink's limits?

or is there another tool that will use dvd shrink's engine but allow me to adjust shrinkage?

don't worry about why i would want to go very low levels of compression and how crappy the final image will be.

is there another app that will give as good or better results than dvd shrink and also allows me to adjust shrinkage levels?

Those are locked for safety. Some fools would shrink to 10% if they were allowed. If you need to go lower, use DVD Rebuilder, in combination with the free MPEG encoder it comes with (HC Enc or QUEnc, I forget). It takes about 10 hours to copy, and I suggest dropping resolution to Half D1 in the AVS options.
