I am using DVD Architect 5.2 and trying to burn a short video to a DVD. I receive an error message that the burner does not have media loaded. Tried different DVDs. Tried different burner. Found error that the unit is write protected when trying to make video DVD. Works OK when making a data DVD. Tried modifying register. Tried modifying using Diskpart. Tried different video authoring software.

Same problem. I am sure it is a simple fix. I just don't know what it is.

DVD authoring software has always been terrible at the actual burning.

- In the authorware, export/"burn" to an image file (ISO)
- Then use quality burn-only software, preferably Imgburn (the version at this site, latter versions have spyware)

- Did my advice help you? Then become a Premium Member and support this site.
- For sale in the marketplace: TBCs, workflows, capture cards, VCRs
