From what I remember, DVD Workshop 2 doesn't even work on Windows 7 without using XP Mode. Windows 8 does not have a XP Mode so you are limited to using a VirtualBox of XP. The best option in all honesty is to build a slightly older system with XP for video work, especially for capturing and recording.
