Note: This card had a low production run, as AGP was already mainstream. The fact that PCI was even made was somewhat odd. As such, low production, the card is rare. The main benefit, or course, is to allow more modern motherboards that have XP PCIe+PCI, all the way into Kaby Lake z170. However, the ATI AIW USB also gives that option (XP USB), so it's worth considering too. Don't overly focus on just the PCI. Both cards are somewhat rare, so take what's available. The PCI does have a slight edge, since TBSC is better than AIW USB audio. But then again, USB is easier to find than PCI on the EOL boards.
Also note: You don't want any random AIW PCI cards. Many work poorly, if at all. You're seeking the only good cards. You clearly know this, but comments left for any future thread readers.
