Were you ever able to track one down?

These show up on eBay from time to time, but beware of card-only auctions -- those are useless. At minimum, it needs to come with its original purple break-out box. There's two kinds of purple breakout dongles, and the newer AGP and PCIe ones do not fit the older PCI cards (or the AGP 128 Pro).

Why not use an AGP cards?

the only good PCI card is the 7500 VE - sabre pc still has some brand new last time i checked

actually you dont need the breakout cables if you only want to capture S-Video
(breakout is required for the later cards that have square plug)
if you break the little plastic tab off a normal S-Video cable it plugs right in the pin-outs are correct.
you do need the breakout cables for composite
i tested this with 7500, 9000pro 9200 and 9700 and it works fine.
