Hey, this just uses a regular computer style IEC power cable.

The 100V part means you've got a Japanese model, so you just need to use that with either a 120V to 100V step-down transformer or a VARIAC/Autotransformer (outputs a variable AC voltage based on what the dial is set to).

This one will work if you don't want to accidentally move the dial on the unit (Since it's a fixed transformer): https://www.amazon.com/Yinleader-Voltage-Converter-Japanese-Transformer/dp/B0DLFX1W7Z

This assumes you're in the USA and starting with 120VAC. If you're in a 220V area like Europe, you'd need a 220V to 100V step-down transformer or any 220V autotransformer/variac.

The actual 50 vs 60Hz doesn't matter since the power supply immediately converts power to DC.

The SVO-5800 is a pretty cool machine by the way, the internal TBC and built in Proc amp are very nice and they do have an hour counter in the service menu so you can actually look at just "how used" it is. I'm told by MISU on YouTube that the heads are swappable with the SLV-R1000 if the heads were to ever get worn. The rest of the mechanism is the same as the Sony medical VCR (SVO-9500) which aren't too hard to find. Main downside to these is their power supplies almost always need an initial recapping (out of the 4 I've worked on, 3 had several physically leaking capacitors). That, and they can only play SP tapes. One last advantage to mention is that they don't cause as much head wear during full FF/REW as they unlace the tape during stop which you won't really see on consumer machines.
