Hi all,

Now that I’ve successfully completed my family archives project, I’m passing on my TBCs to the next enthusiast. Both units have been kept in a smoke-free environment and handled with care:

1. Datavideo TBC-3000
Condition: Excellent, fully functional. This was my main workhorse for the project, works flawlessly, no issues noticed during my almost 70h capture project.
Provenance: Acquired from a small local video studio. It was used sparingly for specific archival tasks before I purchased it for my project.
Includes: Unit + European power supply (230V, EU Schuko plug).
Price: 1.600€ (Shipping and insurance included within EU).

2. Atlona CDM-660 (Cypress TBC)
Condition: Barely used by me (only few VHS-C tapes for testing). It performs exactly as it should.
Provenace: Originally purchased from Lordsmurf. I bought it here on the forum a few months ago as a backup of the TBC-3000.
Includes: Unit + Original box + European power supply (230V, EU Schuko plug).
Price: 800€ (Shipping and insurance included within EU).

Ships from Spain. I will use tracked and insured shipping to ensure they arrive safely.

Hi all,

Both items are still for sale, I can ship worldwide if needed, but I'm not sure what the current situation is with tariffs, specially in the USA.

Best regards.

I wrote about that recently:

Even now, most people in U.S. are completely oblivious to how tariffs work, and they can be in for a nasty surprise if not careful. Unfortunately, anything at a TBC value is just insanity to import right now. I don't want our non-USA members to deal with an irate USA member that didn't know what he/she was stepping into. If they know the total costs upfront, then great! What I don't want is surprises and hard feelings.

As always, I'm trying to watch out for others here.

New prices for both items:

Datavideo TBC-3000: 1400€ (Shipping and insurance included).

Lordsmurf's Atlona CDM-660 (Cypress TBC): 750€ (Shipping and insurance included).

I can ship worldwide if needed, but you need to check tariffs if you are in the US following Lordsmurf previous message.

Best regards

Just curious, is the Atlona CDM-660 PAL only?

Damn.

This an issue with just the particular model seller put up or all Atlona CDM-660's plagued by this problem?

As far as I'm concerned, all Atlona CDM-660's are PAL only for our digitizing purposes, I forgot to mention it in my post, sorry.
