Sony EVO-9850P (PAL)
For now I don't have pictures or other samples. I can provide them upon request (don't want to spend hour for ad if there's no interest).
This is professional Video8/Hi8 player/recorder with TBC, VUs, jog wheel, balanced XLR audio etc. Insides are neat and clean and video head looks good, no problems in the picture in recording or playback so far (excluding the one problem explained below) .
Like many 9850's this one had electrical problems and has been thru complete overhaul. Electrical bugs have been fixed and all the caps replaced etc. So far just the repairs have cost me 600 EUR. Sadly the deck got damaged in transit from service (Germany to Finland) and it's not fully operational. The problem is that picture wobbles horizontally a bit. It might be mechanical problem in the brake wheel etc. Or hairline crack in the electronics. I couldn't tell without disassembling.
So I'm selling this for parts/project to someone who want to try to repair this new problem or have it repaired. I can get you contact info for the german service guy (I. Muellers) if needed.
I'm asking 300 EUR + shipping. Best offers are considered.
