VirtualDub VCR Input checkbox?

Under "Capture Filters" there is a checkbox for "VCR Input"

It is shown grayed out in the guide. It is not for me. What is this for?

I'm used to bad electrolytics from fixing pinballs and the PC motherboard issues a few years back.

Turns out in this case it was just a badly shielded S-Video cable.

Thanks, but I am using VirtualDub and there are no ProcAmp controls for this unit. (PCIe version), at least none the Windows 7 driver exposes.

For those looking at using at least the PCIe...

For those looking at using at least the PCIe version of this card with Windows 7, be advised that there are no ProcAmp settings with this device :(
