I was planning on doing more D-VHS transfers, but my unit stopped playing D-VHS tapes. When I popped in a tape, it said "CALIBRATING" and the image never popped up. Tried another tape, same issue....

Yeah, I guess it's the TBC, I had a capture of the same tape from when I didn't have a TBC and the levels looked fine. So I dunno what I should do.

I found the culprit of my TBC-off noise issue.
Get this, having my picture control set to NORM causes the problem....
