Panasonic AG-7350 decrease brightness of output?

I checked Service manual but i not found something related to that.. for what i can see on my unit, the output is a little bit more lighter than other VCRs i have... and also i have some old VHS with a too much lighted content.. and i was thinking that can be nice to add a potentiometer to the AG7350 to change brightness "on the fly" to prevent use of secondary mixer or changing video card parameters... i made something like that on a Panasonic Ave5 and Ave55.. but i prefer to not use more "things" after the AG7350 when acquiring.

This is one of many reasons why this model of VCR is not suggested, overexposure.

BTW... the playback Y signal can be adjusted using the VR10 trimmer on the V2 board,mine default value was 561 Ohm.
tomorrow i will place an external 1Kohm potentiometer...

You could also go with a proc amp or there might be digital proc amp settings in your capture card or capture program settings. I'd be curious to hear how the variable resistor mentioned works as well.

i replaced the VR10.. and the luminance setting is very "fluid", the stock trimmer is oxidated and it's necessary to move a little bit left/right to stabilize to the desired brightness... btw this is player output Y level Gain... no idea if this can be adjusted on some other part of the VCR... (maybe on the preamplifier...)
