I'm still not seeing anything wrong here. The TBC-1000 unit shown looks fine.
Don't just take apart equipment for the hell of it.
Don't do something that could be potentially catastrophics, to an expensive item, without being completely confident the work is absolutely required.
AG-1980Ps suffer bad caps. Not TBC-1000s.
DataVideo spec sheets are not available for it.
Repairing these has proven very difficult. I've done some TBC-1000 work, total unit teardowns, but stopped short of recapping (because I no longer have the steady hand needed to solder, and even the best recap job can be iffy at times).
