Hello somebody,
I am here a new member with BAD English

I bought a Panasonic HS930 and I'm having trouble with inserting the cartridge.
I removed the front panel as it was not possible to insert the cartridge through the entry door. I found out that there is a problem with the Wiper arm, which prevents the door from opening.
The problem is with the gears. They are probably skipped a few teeth/wrongly alignment.
This is Z-mechanics.
Could someone advise me how to adjust the Wiper arm?

When I removed the front cover and tried to insert the VHS tape, it started normally. Alignment of picture is fine too.
After pressing the EJECT button, the cassette will eject normally.
There is no problem with the spoiler feeder.
The VCR works as it should...
The problem is only with the Wiper arm.

I am attaching some photos...
1st and 2nd bad alignment
3rd and 4th correct alignment
5. Wiper arm

Thank you very much for help...

It's aligned using the phase adjustment point shown in the image, the two holes should match up when it's at the specified part of the loading cycle noted in the manual. It looks like the

That is if it's actuall out of alignment, the bad and correc pictures are not at the exact same point so hard to tell. Also when attaching the front panel, make sure the door part goes on correctly, it often has to be held open or similar to make it go in th ecorrect spot relative to the plastic thing that opens it. If you get that wrong it won't open correctly.

Hello hodgey,
I have already tried everything you write and found that there is a problem with the pad for opens the door (Wiper arm).
I am sure with this reality, because I compare position Wiper arm with other HS930.
And his Wiper arm doesn't work in full range. Problem is in position gears of Z-mechanics.
I need manual for correctly set gears again, that's all.

A video with the setup process would be best.

I believe there is someone who knows how to do this.

Thanks all...
