Hello, I recently bought this VCR on an ebay auction as fully working, as it turns out, it is not. I replaced the head so my problem is definetly not that. i notice that if i push down the backtensioner with my finger the image fixes itsself, but the tape stops due to the felt strip generating too much friction. I show all this in the attached video.

eBay is full is idiot and liar sellers, nothing is ever actually tested or working. Just return it.

I already got a partial refund as i didnt want to mess around with sending it, so i got the unit for almost free (10gbp). I have also already invested money into it as i have replaced the head.
