I switched batteries and tried the 12V adapter and still not getting power. I'm getting 2.5V on the power adapter lead on the board.

I didn't recognize the model number, but I vaguely recall the AI description:

Quote:
The Fisher-Price PXL-2000 (or PixelVision) is a cult-classic 1987 toy camcorder that recorded grainy, black-and-white video ( resolution) onto standard audio cassette tapes.
Is that it?

Like lots of others items, capacitors are becoming a standard problem.
