I just finished buying this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...f_=as_li_ss_tl

It'll connect an HDTV, router, BD player, DVD recorder, 2x VCRs, 2x TBCs, capture system, IPS monitor. Never all powered at once. That's my personal setup, far closer to what most folks here would be using.

It should provide enough power to finish open tasks, end tasks without rushing at a power loss. I do stop captures within 10 minutes. I'll stop watching TV within 15.

Plenty of power to keep all items powered off, just battery. AG-1980 decks are touchy, so this is important. If power off for more than about 4 hours, then it'll fail, shut down, cut power to the vampires entirely.

- For sale in the marketplace: TBCs, workflows, capture cards, VCRs

In Hungary, I have found the following one: CyberPower CP1500EPFCLCD 1500VA

Is it a SMART UPS (because it outputs pure sine waves)?

I know it's a PFC UPS, and PFC is not needed by VCRs, and (not every) computers. But this PFC feature won't do harm to devices that don't need PFC, or will it?

'Pure' sine waves are a bit of a misnomer, something is either sinusoidal or it isn't. Sines are mathematical functions and realistically only exist 'on paper.' These units do deliver a close approximation of it - which is great and more than effective.

No equipment 'requires' PFC, I think LS is a bit mixed up about this, I'm not going through with Pf is again! There may be environmental regulations which require it for businesses, but any reasonable computer PSU built in the last decade or so includes Pf correction anyway. Power Factor is not connected to device functionality.

If you think this is the way to go, I'm sure this unit will do precisely what you need of it
