I am trying to decide between these for standard analog to digital VHS conversions:
9000 64MB with DVI port - Says AGP 2x/4x - will this cause problems with an AGP 8x Motherboard slot?
9800 128MB with DVI port - AGP 8x
The 9800 is much more expensive and has more ram, but I am not sure if it actually produces better results?
The motherboard I plan to use it with is an Asrock P4V88+ which says it has an AGP 8x slot. Not sure if the 9000's 2x/4x spec will decrease performance for our use case, or if it has issues working in an AGP 8x motherboard slot?
If there's a better variant to look for that doesn't require impossible to find breakout cables that I should be looking for instead?
Is the purple "Domino" input cable the same as the non-domino/solid purples one in terms of pinout/interchangeability?
Thank you in advance!
