Is there a known fix for Lagarith crashing in
Virtualdub right as the capture is started when using that codec?
The error is:
"An out of bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'lagarith'
Photo also attached of the screen.
I am pretty sure lots of users use Windows 32 bit and
virtualdub for lagarith captures, so wondering how I get around this.
I thought about just removing 2gb of ram from the computer and seeing if that fixes it, but I'd prefer not to if there's a better way, and I'm also thinking that probably will not fix it, but I may give that a go if nothing else works.
Setup:
Asrock 4CoreDualVSTA with 4gb of ram and 2.66ghz quad core2extreme (underclocked to 2.4ghz)
AGP AIW 9000 Pro
Virtualdub 1.9.11 from preloaded package with filters downloaded from digitalfaq
Windows XP 32 bit
Of note, the other bandwidth heavy codecs such as ffdshow, Huffy v2.1.1, and "no compression" all function fine on the machine.
Thanks in advance!
