VD stops capturing video on PC screen timeout, but keeps recording audio?
I'm encountering an issue while capturing Video8 tapes using
VirtualDub 1.9.11.
During the process of capturing a 2-hour tape, if my PC screen turns off due to inactivity,
VirtualDub stops recording video frames but it still captures audio. Consequently, the resulting AVI file exhibits a segment where the video turns black while the audio continues normally for the remainder of the tape.
Is there a way to prevent VirtualDub within the program itself from halting video capture when my PC screen turns off due to inactivity? I need VirtualDub to continue capturing video even when I'm unable to monitor the full 2-hour duration of the tape.
