I got this card recently. I assume it's an OEM (Sapphire?) card that uses ATI chips, as it doesn't match a normal X600 Pro.
The sticker on it says RADEON X600 PRO-4. If anyone has an more info I'd be grateful.

Anyway, after much faffing around I was able to get it working in a new install XP Integral machine.
As usual, it didn't come with any breakout cable but as I've had success manually soldering the correct connections to another card I'm sure that won't matter in the end. Perhaps to save some time, someone has a hint or 2 on the pinout of the 9 solder points on the rear.
I have an ATI purple breakout box from another model so checked that at least the grounds were all grounds (they were) and connected it. The solder pins go to the following on the purple box: (3rd image).
I got a picture in
VirtualDub, but in a rather unexpected way, so something isn't right...
When an S-Video source is connected to the S-Video socket on the purple box and when S-Video input is selected I just get random colours and occasionally a very slight hint of a very bad image. Same when a composite video source is connected to the comp RCA jack.
However with a composite source connected to the composite RCA jack, nothing else connected and with S-Video selected as the source in
VirtualDub there is a good image! I don't understand how that can work, but at least I know it works and is work further faffing.
