I have bought a Panasonic NV-Sv121, PAL version, with SuperVHS capabilities, TBC (not so good.. but better than nothing)
connected to my Blackmagic i have the S-VIDEO output with correct colors and brightness.. using the RCA output (composite) the image is a little bit bright and there is a loss on very white details (Like: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/...ht#post2739224 )

seems that the output of any panasonic PAL device is too bright... COMBO DVD.. VHS...
can be this related to the capture device ? ( same brightness using Blackmagic, Osprey , or some modern RCA USB adapters )

i don't think that Panasonic make some sort of mistake on RCA outputs making them too bright, it's possible that looking at an OLD TV the signal is correct but "modern" aquisition cards are not happy about the signal???)
