Panasonic NV-HD625 VCR good for converting VHS tapes?

Can anyone offer any advice as to wether this is a good unit for converting old vhs tapes to dvd , as i have the possibility of acquiring one . I would also be interested in an approximate valuation . thanks

This is just a consumer-grade unit. It's not suggested, no.
At most, it would be a VCR I'd use if 4-5 other better VCRs all failed to properly play a tape.
