I am wondering how long is your longest VHS capture, unbroken? I have a 6+ hour tape running through my ES-15 and TBC-1000 and methinks 2 captures at 3 hours might be a better strategy than a single 6+ hour file. Your thoughts Hobson?

I've run 6 hours quite a bit.

But I'm less worried about the capture, and more worried about the TBC or VCR overheating.

I also only do it if I have a mostly-empty HDD that was defragmented. If the drive isn't clean, you'll get dropped frames due to I/O of the drive being interrupted while it seeks blank space.
