how do you do it,
is there softwere that will do it ,
i have tryd extract 480x480 MPEG-2 and re-encode it to 352x480 with mpeg-vcr but the picture gos bad.
can anyone help.

Use this method to extract the M2F2 MPEG video:

Then re-encode those MPEG to DVD spec files:
http://www.digitalfaq.com/dvdguides/...nc/tmpgenc.htm

Then author a new DVD.

yeah dont use mpeg vcr to re-encode, use tmpg or procoder

The quality should remain almost exactly in tact because you are only resizing a portion of it and not by much so it should look almost identical when done

Ok, I'm lost! What's new? Could you please explain in a little more detail. Is all you need to do is use the second step that LS recommended? This is not a free program correct?
