I found a new, unopended 6.5 boxed retail offer on eBay for a buy it now price of $200.00. (includes shipping)Good deal?
Being a novice using Premiere, this sure beats $500.00 or so for Pro 1.5

Probably.

Your best prices are generally here:
http://cs.academicsuperstore.com

If you can beat that store, then you've got a deal on your hands. (As long as you still have a student ID, all they want is a scan. Whether or not you're in school... they leave that up to you.)

http://cs.academicsuperstore.com/mar...disp.html?Part No=711899&qk_srch=premiere

Looks like you can get PRO on academic for $219 plus shipping.
