I have around 30-40 VHS and VHS-C tapes all recorded with various different handheld camcorders my dad purchased over a 20 year period til he switched to miniDV. Not sure what brand/model they were. Nothing I'm trying to capture was recorded on a VCR.

I'll have to try and look up the service manual to see what it says - though I'm guessing many here would advise against anymore tinkering on my side
