I have been digitalising my family's VHS tapes with a JVC deck, ES10 and Pinnacle capture card with VirtualDub, I have pretty much finished with the VHS tapes, and now have some Hi8/8mm tapes left, I don't know anything about these and don't have any hardware to play these on.

What workflow is best for capturing these tapes? What models should I be looking for? I am in the UK (PAL) if that makes a difference.

Attached a photo of some of the tapes I have.
