The projector does not have variable speed...

The projector does not have variable speed control, but the camera does an excellent job of matching the frame rate. In all the reels I scanned, there was no flickering on any of them.

hodgey, yes you were right. The cable does not interfere with the playing of the VCR. Turns out it was a problem with the transport which appears to be straightened out...
