I built myself a little capturing system for 8mm film. I'm using the HDMI output of the camera into an Aver Media Live Gamer Mini (which is a USB interface). When I open Virtual Dub, the Gamer shows up in the Devices List and I'm able to preview the output just fine. However, when I open the Compression window, there's nothing there. I use HuffYUV to capture VHS tapes so I know that's installed correctly. If I disconnect the Gamer, then HuffYUV shows back up in the compression window. When I try to capture, I get an error that no compression has been chosen (but again, there's nothing listed to choose from in the compression window).

Any ideas on why this is happening and how I can capture from an HDMI output in Virtual Dub? Thanks.
