Hello! Today I went to test one of my JVC SR-MV55 and I realized that it doesn't start, the screen stays in LOADING and the device doesn't turn on.

After a diagnostic, I realized that the power supply capacitors are swollen, I changed the power supply for another one I had and the equipment works correctly. So what I did was replace them with new ones and it would be ready to work again.

I know that it is a very common failure and that the problem lies in the power supply. It's a very easy repair to do.

It has multiple failure points, but yes, the power board is common. That's always the first place I look, but it's rarely the last.

Does your also have a dim display?

Yes, after a few minutes, the screen loses power and only the letter G is visible.
