i have the VCR running well, loading fine, FF/RW, JOG, all seems to be working (according to the display) but i dont have any video or audio signal coming out to the TV, ive tried the S-Video port, the BNC port, switched around the cables to every configuration i can think of, but cant get a signal to the TV, is there a process, to checking the video signal to narrow it down, i dont know if i have a video output board thats gone bad, or something in the main boards, i just recapped the display, which came out great, and all the signals from the head are showing on the display eg: sound/tracking, but nothing reaching the TV, has anyone had this issue before? and where is a good place to start narrowing it down, as to what this could be?
thanks

Does your TV has input select and properly tuned to the right input type? S-Video, composite ....etc.

Latreche34, im using a monitor that has rca ports, (my nintendo monitor ) and i also have an adapter from S-video to RCA,, i already tested the monitor, with another VCR to be sure, it was not the monitor being the issue,

SOLVED: after wiggling the BNC connector on the back of the VCR, the signal would pass to the monitor, upon further inspection, i found a couple of solder joints cracked, pulled the video output circuit board did a quick solder , and all is well,
thanks
