Greetings - having a bit of issue finding responsive repair facility so might do a refresh myself on this. Google isn't helping me a lot here.

Is there a reputable and responsive repair facility out there now?
Are there any diagrams specifically on wear items? (SM is not explicit)

Feedback appreciated!

Belt diagrams? Do you mean more like mechanism timing? Really the only belt on that I think is the capstan belt and the loading motor belt which are pretty straightforward.

Thanks, and yes probably mechanism timing. Seems noise occurs every 5-7 seconds no matter the tape. I was initially thinking replacing wearables but perhaps I'm not on the right track.

Intermittent noise on the picture is not caused by a wrong gears timing or belt if you ask me. More like (from simple to worst) : bad grounding (heads drum, chassis), leaking caps on the power supply or somewhere else. Last but not least failing heads. I don't know everything on vcr's but i know that much

Thank you for this. Perhaps just a good cleaning to start with / check grounds.
