Phillips VR1100 Stuck in SVHS ET Mode

HI guys my Phillips VR1100 has developed an issue its Stuck in SVHS ET Mode when im playing regular vhs tapes. ive tried pressing the button to deselect that mode but it won't. so none of my tapes will play now as its running them at a incorrect speed.

Any ideas on how to fix this ive cleaned the heads so I don't think that will be the issue

can you upload a video of the output you get (I got a smiliar issue on a JVC)

Could be related to the sensor of vhs/svhs but don't quote me

sorry I pulled it out of service for now till I can fix it. from reading online it sounds like its clogged heads that could be the issue so I will strip and clean everything and re try it
