Hi all,
I wanted to check in on a detail regarding the "classic" series cards (listed
here, pasted below); as there are so many variations, I didn't want to make a purchasing error before I started.
On the list below, I see the ATI All-in-Wonder X800 VE (AGP 8x). Whilst I haven't located that specific card, I have found a ATI All-in-Wonder X800 XL (AGP), which apparently still uses the Theatre 200 chipset, but is a slightly higher end model?
Would this model variation also be considered one of the
classic series cards? Safe to buy for use in the workflow listed on the site (XP / Virtual Dub)?
Sub-question: Do I need to worry about its provenance (e.g. NTSC vs PAL/SECAM)? All my tapes are NTSC and I live in France, so just wanted to make sure I didn't need to source an NTSC version.
Thanks in advance!
