Hi again, so I gave up on Hybrid and tried Avidemux (64bit)
Its different from the guide and doesnt have many changeable settings
so I used the basic settings as in the pic... (Yadif deinterlacer)
Got an error box "Cannot setup codec, bitrate too low"
EDIT: Tried HEVC(x265) and its now processing..let you know how it turns out

HEVC didnt work but MPEG4 AVC (x264) does...maybe this is the one I was meant to use first?...lol...
looks pretty good so far....cheers

Thanks Goldwing... Selur has been helpful but still no success with Hybrid
I downloaded Avidemux as LordSmurf suggested and have had success with that so far.
I might continue playing with Avidemux
Thank you Goldwing,
Amazing I must be learning, have mine setup very much the same...
I tested constant bitrate single pass and average bitrate 2 pass encoding but very little visible difference (on my 55inch Samsung LED TV) in visual quality for me and the file size ended up twice as large with 2 pass...so I stayed with single pass
I tested Audio ACC (lam) and Audio AC3 (Lam) and found AC3 slightly clearer on my surround sound system
I have found a problem when loading a new video after one finished.
All the video and audio configuration settings are lost? and the audio setting sort of freezes.
But once I redo all the settings the audio configuration unfreezes?
Also the Queueing doesnt seem to work for trying to process multiple video files one after another
which is really bad because I have alot to process.
Ive looked for a solution at the Avidemux Forum but i think its a bug..if I cant fix it I may go back to trying to
get Hybrid to work as my confidence and learning is increasing exponentially and Hybid has better support...
