Hi!

I have managed to source a brand new DR-M150SEK here in the UK and would like to know if it is recommended or not. I have found a link to an old LSI chipset list on this site and some others but it only lists models up to DR-M100SEK if I remember correctly. My guess is that this model DR-M150SEK came after the 100SEK. Can someone please confirm if the DR-M150SEK has the LSI chipset or not.

Many thanks in advance,

h_abb

No, the 150 is post-LSI, and therefore not a recommended model.

The most common models are the DR-M10, the DR-M100, the DR-MV1 combo, and the DR-MV5 combo. Look for those.
(There are others -- mostly with HDD.)
